Farasha Style x Zenzee x Pat Mitchell = Dream Team

We’ve created a benefit collection to increase awareness of and support for the creative design and entrepreneurial enterprises led by women. To offer an opportunity to ‘purchase with purpose’ as the proceeds support the work of organizations profiled in the book. It’s been our pleasure producing the Dangerous Collection for you and for all the women that have touched this very special project!

Farasha Style Team

Vanessa Di Palma Wright / Founder
Vanessa is a seasoned stylist and world traveler who has scouted unique emerging designers from around the globe. She launched Farasha in 2009 with the sole purpose to set up pop-up boutiques in niche resort markets to offer sophisticated women an atelier to discover and shop new brands. Since then, the concept has evolved into a full service fashion consulting company with an array of services that encompass her love of fashion and travel. Vanessa was born in Montevideo, Uruguay and grew up in Queens, NY.

Madison Limansky / Managing Partner
Madison has spent fourteen years in the fashion industry, working in markets all over the world in various roles such as producer, wardrobe stylist, creative director and model. Her extensive experience and excellent people skills provide her with a unique ability to execute projects effectively. Most importantly, Madison seeks to constantly be proactive in empowering women to embrace and express who they are through fashion. She is thrilled to be part of a company who works toward that goal on a daily basis.

Zenzee

Sharon Backurz / Founder + Designer
Sharon’s first love is branding and graphic design. She has a long history working with consumer brands, retailers, technology companies, startups of every stripe and hue, nonprofits, and community-based organizations―helping each client realize their goals and potential. Design fuels Sharon’s life, and she enjoys making things that inspire a smile and add comfort to life’s crazy journey. Zenzee started as a side hustle and has blossomed into a lifestyle brand. Zenzee creates ergonomic footwear and statement apparel for women using beauty, brains and a splash of wanderlust.

Sharon designed + produced the Dangerous Collection alongside Farasha and contributed with a few products herself—don’t miss the Dangerous slides.

Our Partners

We partnered with some fabulous female-led, sustainably-minded companies to produce The Dangerous Collection.

Gigi Pip Hats / Based in Salt Lake City, Gigi Pip is inspired by you, the woman who wears many hats. Empowering those who have seen themselves as anything less than worthy. Seeing differences not as flaws but as features. We engraved ‘Dangerous times call for dangerous women’ on their handmade Italian leather hat bands. There are 3 to die for Fedora styles to choose from.

Misha Gill is an experienced product developer and production manager focused on local, sustainable and fair wage manufacturing. With over 10 years of industry experience, Misha is dedicated to helping brands build their businesses on a foundation of ethical and eco friendly production.

• The BADW Sweatshirt is made in a fair wage factory in the heart of downtown LA using locally knit, biodegradable cotton fleece, trim and labels.
• The BADW Quote Scarf was locally hand sewn and printed using water-based ink and zero waste production practices.
• The BADW Zebra Strap was custom made locally in a south LA webbing facility practicing environmentally friendly and fair wage production.

B.Barefoot / A Barefoot College International Enterprise
For more than 40 years, The Barefoot College has designed new ways to nurture and support a journey to empowerment, one village at a time, one woman at a time. They demystify and decentralize technology and put new tools in the hands of the rural poor with a singular objective of spreading self-sufficiency and sustainability. The B.Barefoot women created 3 luxurious handwoven embroidered cashmere pashminas and our Dangerous times hand-printed napkins.

Bamboo Straw Girl / Mel is the "Bamboo Straw Girl"—better known by most as "bamboo girl" / "miss bamboo" / "bamboo". Her shop started as a personal project in 2014 to start conversations about eco habits and single-use plastics through the simple bamboo straw—nature's solution to nasty plastic! The Bamboo Straw Girl shop is an earth-minded lifestyle store focussed on a conscious way of living. They send good vibes and nature-inspired products to you from the Equator - Singapore! She engraved Pat’s statements on our bamboo cutlery set.

Everybody.World / An LA based design and manufacturing house, Everybody.World makes thoughtful goods, without exploiting people or the planet. EVERYBODY.WORLD is leading with creativity and reinventing what a fashion company can be. EBW produced our luxurious Dangerous logo scarves in downtown LA.

Lori Zarate / Our rockstar San Francisco based sales executive, Lori Zarate managed the sourcing and production of our eco-friendly Dangerous Woman postcard set. Her ‘making a difference’ game is strong!

Photography / We worked with two wonderful Utah photographers. Many thanks to Serena Martineau & Blake Peterson for being so much fun to work with. Last but not least special thanks to our beautiful models—Pat, Minna, Brandi, Kyler and Emily.
